The Crucible?

The Crucible written by Arthur Miller is about the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. The setting is Spring in 1692 in a small town called Salem. It is about some girls who seemed to be dancing in the woods and then they seem to be "possessed" by a witch. Then, after the first accusation starts everybody who is accused of being witches accuses other people of witchcraft and it gets way out of control. We are reading this book because we should learn about the Great American History we have in this country.
This relates to my life because i know quite a large group of people and we each do/like different things and are sort of like a community. We help each other if we need help but once someone is suspected of something wrong done to our group everybody is against them and ignores them. Even if no one really knows about it if its just a rumor they are kind of excluded until they can prove them self good again. So if someone get caught doing something and some of us get in trouble we start blaming each other for the trouble caused against them. So my group is like Salem because everyone knows each other but we put blame on each other even if we know for a fact that they didn't do it.
